The Downtown Wapakoneta Partnership (DWP), has been a viable organization in our community since 2004. Governed by a 10 member Board of Trustees, it operates as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. DWP meets the second Tuesday of each month with participation from downtown businesses and community members interested in the preservation and revitalization of Wapakoneta’s downtown. DWP uses the Ohio Main Street approach to encourage, enhance and promote a vibrant social and economic downtown district.

DWP is focused in four committees: Beautification who focuses on the beauty of the downtown as a whole, Facade Improvement which focuses on revitalizing the buildings of the downtown, the membership committee who focus on building support throughout the community and the newsletter which shares the events throughout the community.  

DWP is looking for energetic, civic-minded people to help plan and implement our activities. Whether you are interested in serving on a committee or volunteering at an event we need and welcome you.
